Colts rocks to big Karaka price

The good-looking son of the Danehill stallion was finally knocked down to Western Australian interests for $170,000.
The colt is the first foal of the well-related Stravinsky mare Ballet Blue.
She is a half-sister to the Gr 2 Maribyrnong Plate winner and Group One placegetter The Heavyweight.
Other siblings include Zedrich and Happy Strike, who have both been successful at stakes level in Australia.
It is also the family of the multiple black type winner and multiple Group performer So Anyway.
Hallmark’s High Chaparral colt also hit the six figure mark when he was sold to NZB, as agent, for $100,000.
A half-brother to two stakes performers, he is out of the former top mare Dane Ripper.
The daughter of Danehill won 12 races and four at the top level with her career highlight a victory in the Cox Plate.
