Impressive Te Aroha winner Karm N Easy (Karmadini) sealed a winning double for his sire Super Easy on Sunday, when scoring over a mile at just his second raceday outing.
Trained by Stephen Marsh, Karm N Easy relished the winter conditions, racing away to cross the line by a length, with a further 4-lengths back to the third place-getter.
Karm N Easy was bred by G M, Mrs S J & Mrs W Vincent, who race him together with Mr W Alley.
Earlier in the week the Tony and Lynn Prendergast-trained Way Too Easy (Posh Bec) looked the winner turning for home, and duly got up to take his maiden win by one length over 1200m.
Across the Tasman, Super Easy’s leading Australian performer Lisdoonvarna (Axislass) was narrowly beaten at Randwick on Saturday, with the five-time race winner adding a second placing to her impressive race record of 9 starts for 5 wins and 3 placings.
Super Easy remains in the top 20 Second Season Sires List in Australia, and in the top 10 Second Season Sires List in NZ.
