Group One glory for Humidor in the Memsie Stakes
02 Sep 2018

Top class galloper Humidor (Teofilo ex Zalika) achieved further Group One success when taking out the Memsie Stakes at Caulfield yesterday, his third at the highest level. The six year old gelding spent a year with us as a weanling and we would like to offer our congratulations to his owners, Jomara Bloodstock.

Humidor's dam Zalika has a yearling filly by Shooting To Win (Northern Meteor) and is due to foal to the Cambridge Stud-based stallion Tavistock (Montjeu) this year. Humidor is one of 14 individual Group 1 winners for his sire Teofilo.

Humidor's victory capped off a big day for connections, the son of Teofilo is a half-brother to Marechal (General Nediym), who is the dam of yesterday’s El Roca Sir Colin Meads Stakes (Listed, 1200m) winner Cyber Attack (Shamexpress).
