Super Easy and the Donna Logan stable have become a formidable combination in recent times with a six and a half length victory for Thunder Dragon (Super Easy ex Astrogal) last night.
The three year old colt jumped from gate two, jockey Erasmus Aslam quickly had his mount handy to the leader, never giving up his spot on the rails, he was ready to pounce when they straightened. "He had the benefit of two prior runs" said the jockey. "This time he really put his mind to the job and got it done"
Thunder Dragon was a $90,000 purchase out of the 2017 New Zealand Bloodstock Festival Sale and was dam Astrogal's first foal, she hails from the same family as Crimson who is the dam of Abidewithme and Miss Scarlatti.
Thunder Dragon's victory made it four wins in six days for Super Easy with The Big Easy (Singapore), Friday Woolfe (Te Aroha) and Neptune's Spear (Doomben) all saluting.
