A step up to Saturday grade did not deter Dreaming Easy (Super Easy) from picking up another win at Riccarton. The in form mare has now won three in her past six.
Today's win over 1400m was incredibly impressive, settling at the rear, detached from the field, the daughter of Super Easy could easily have been written off on the turn. However, under the urgings of Tanya Jonker Dreaming Easy let down strongly, showing a dazzling turn of foot in testing conditions.
Dreaming Easy is by Ekraar mare Surraar, a two time winner at 1400m, the dam of two foals to race both winners. She is a half sister to Gr3 winner Princess Pulse.
